Industrial Fan Engineering Support
ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR INDUSTRIAL VENTILATION
RAFAVENT supports EPC contractors, MEP consultants, industrial buyers and project teams from initial duty-point review through technical submittal and approved supply. Engineering outputs are prepared for the confirmed project scope and must be reviewed against the final specification.
Engineering status: Selection data and calculated curves shown before final approval are preliminary and non-certified. Certified, witnessed or project-specific compliance is stated only when supported by valid documentation for the supplied configuration.
Fan Selection Process
Selection begins with airflow, static or total pressure, operating temperature, gas composition, altitude, dust loading, acoustic limits, installation arrangement, electrical supply and applicable project requirements. The proposed fan is checked against the duty point, system resistance, operating range, motor margin and installation constraints.
- Confirm duty and environmental conditions.
- Review system resistance and control philosophy.
- Select the fan family, size, speed, motor and arrangement.
- Check acoustic, dimensional and material requirements.
- Issue preliminary selection for consultant or EPC review.
Engineering Support
Support may include application review, selection clarification, specification alignment, arrangement review, accessory coordination and responses to technical queries. Scope and deliverables are confirmed for each enquiry.
CFD Analysis
Computational fluid dynamics may be considered where airflow distribution, recirculation, pressure loss, heat removal or equipment interaction requires project-specific study. CFD is offered only after the model boundary conditions, geometry, assumptions, acceptance criteria and required outputs are agreed. No generic page result is represented as a validated project simulation.
Performance Testing
Testing requirements are reviewed against the selected configuration, available facilities, contractual standard and inspection plan. Test status, tolerances, instrumentation, witnessing and reporting must be agreed before order release. Preliminary calculated performance is not a certified test result.
Factory Acceptance Test — FAT Procedure
A project FAT procedure can define document review, identification checks, dimensional inspection, material and coating verification, rotational checks, electrical checks, vibration observations, functional run checks and release documentation, as applicable to the approved scope. Witness and hold points are agreed through the project ITP.
Technical Documentation
Controlled documentation can include the selected-product datasheet, GA drawing, performance curve, dimensional information, material specification, installation and O&M manual, and inspection records where applicable.
Custom Fan Design
Where standard configurations do not satisfy the project, RAFAVENT can review custom geometry, materials, coatings, drive arrangement, access requirements, support interfaces and accessories. Feasibility, verification route, commercial scope and manufacturing release remain subject to engineering review.
Engineering Request
Send the duty point, project country, consultant specification, installation details and required documents for review.
